Walter Beineke

This portrait was commissioned by the Beineke family. We had an unveiling and the painting was permanently installed in the families' private viewing gallery that hosts several Beineke portraits painted through history. I got to spend some wonderful time with Mr. Beineke during the creating of this painting. I found him to be an incredibly intelligent man with a brilliant mind. And, he was very warm to me. A true Nantucket icon.
